At Mighty Pen Designs, we believe that small details make a mighty impact. From custom stickers to personalized party favors, every piece is crafted with care and designed to add a little extra joy to your day. Because at the heart of it all, we create handmade magic for every moment.
Meet the Creator
Hi. I'm Julia.
I created Mighty Pen Designs right out of college with the dream of building my own multifaceted business. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades — or rather, a jill of all trades. Creativity has always been at the center of everything I do, and this brand is where all of those passions meet.
Books were my first love. I’ve always been an avid reader — the kind who loves to gush, recommend, and get lost in a good story. That love for storytelling and creativity naturally carried into my interest in design and making ideas come to life.
I’ve also always been a maker. Growing up crafting and creating, I found joy in making things that make people smile. Stickers quickly became one of my favorite things to collect, which inspired me to start designing my own. My first shop launched on Redbubble, where I began selling fandom-inspired designs — including officially licensed Bridgerton stickers during the height of the season 3 craze (still one of my favorite milestones!). Knowing my designs are out in the world never stops being exciting.
While still in college, I worked extensively with vinyl, creating shirts, hats, and sweatshirts for a local furniture restoration company, as well as countless custom gifts for friends’ birthdays, holidays, and favorite fandoms. I opened my Etsy shop, expanding into print-on-demand products like custom wrapping paper — perfect for adding a personal touch to everyday moments and special occasions.
So where does that leave me now? Right here. Mighty Pen Designs is my creative hub — a place where all of my ideas come together. In addition to my original designs and fully customizable party favors and keepsakes, I also hope to feature and collaborate with other small businesses and artists whose work I love, creating a space that celebrates creativity beyond just my own.
I’m always adding new services and products, and I love collaborating to bring creative visions to life. The possibilities are endless here at Mighty Pen Designs, and I don’t plan on limiting myself anytime soon. I hope you stick around and follow along on this journey. A Student's Guide to InDesign:
From the Basics to the Nitty Gritty
I wrote, edited, typeset, and printed my own InDesign guidebook my last semester of college!
As an English major, I took a class to learn how to do InDesign. What I found pretty quickly is how intricate and dense this program is for book production. There didn't seem to be a lot of cohesive or digestible tutorials or books on the program, so for my independent study I made one.
While InDesign can be used for a whole bunch of stuff, I focused on getting a manuscript into the program and getting a book out of it. I really feel I tackled at least a small part of the program- and came away from the experience with an actual physical book. Pretty cool if I do say so myself.
