My experience at the Creation Tour: The Road Ahead Tour in New Jersey.

I recently went to Creation Entertainments, The Road Ahead Supernatural Convention in New Jersey and wanted to share my experience. For starters, if you haven't already watched Supernatural- what are you doing? You have 15 seasons of laughs, tears, and everything in between to enjoy. The show follows Sam and Dean Winchester, two brothers who have been raised as monster hunters by their father.
The show quickly became one of my favorite shows following themes of grief, parental issues, religious trauma, generational trauma, the important of found family, and so much more. I recently finished the 15th season and I'm still recovering from the ending. (IYKYK)
Of all the characters Dean Winchester is who I related to the most. The responsibility of an older sibling, the parentification and trauma that comes with that, and just his use of sarcasm to deal with everything. Theres more but I'll save the trauma dumping for another time- "no chick flic moments" here.
During the convention I got to meet Mark Shepard, who plays Crowley, who was extremely funny and down to earth. I also met David Haydn-Jones who plays Ketch, he was also extremely friendly. All in all, the environment of this convention was so different to Comic Con or Fan Expo, simply because of the actors. They were all down to earth, friendly, happy to be there, and just so humble. It truly felt like a family reunion.
I got to take a photo with Jensen Ackles who plays Dean, and receiving a hug from my comfort character was something unforgettable. Him and Jared Padalecki are so happy and willing to hug all of us it meant a lot.
If you are ever considering attending a creation entertainment event, I highly recommend.
